Visions and Objectives
The goal is to promote the professional development of young planners. To do so, it has the following objectives:

To act as an advisory group to the HKIP, ensuring that young planners have a voice within the official governance structure of the Institute;

To provide various services to YPG members, to enable them to pursue continued professional development and to identify professional opportunities;

To assist planning students and potential young planners in gathering further knowledge and developing their careers;
-
To act as a bridge between senior and young planners; and
-
To facilitate networking with other Institutes (e.g. HKIA, HKIE, HKILA and HKIS).
Membership
All HKIP full members and student members below the age of 35 are automatically members of the YPG.
