Background
The HKIP Institute is celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2009. In retrospect, the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) was chartered back in July 1979 and over the past 30 years our members have grown to nearly 700 members, all of whom have the same goal in promoting good town planning practice and building a better city in Hong Kong.
As a major event in celebrating the HKIP 30th Anniversary, the Conference would like to provide a platform to co-ordinate efforts amongst Government, academics, professionals, business sectors and the public to achieve “low carbon cities” with high standards of sustainable living for all.
