In light of the positive reviews received from last year’s ‘Struggle for Survival’ simulation programme, YPG is organising another team-building event – ‘Refugee Run’ on 28 March 2015 with Crossroads Foundation, a Hong Kong based non-profit organisation that serves to connect globally with those in need and those who can help. Through a half-day simulation, members will have the chance to get a vivid insight into the terrifying existence, struggles and dilemmas that many of the world’s refugees endure on a daily basis.
This inspiring programme will not only enable aspiring planners to take a few steps in the shoes of those in need, share their thoughts on corporate social responsibility and ways to galvanise support to help improving the world at all levels, but most importantly – it offers a unique opportunity for us to get to know each other better through this fun and thought-provoking day!
There will also be an optional volunteering session at Crossroads Village in the afternoon for those who would like to help in the redistribution of donated goods for shipment to those in need in the world. Members would be split into smaller groups and placed to work in one of the many processing departments.
Please feel free to invite your family and friends along to this event which should not be missed!
