Training Workshop of Technical Assessment for Development Proposal
The Education and Training Committee (ETC) of the HKIP is organizing a Training Workshop of Technical Assessment for Development Proposal on 1.12.2018 (Saturday). The goal of the workshop is to enhance practicing planner's understanding on the results of technical assessment provided by consultants in relation to planning studies, statutory planning applications and amendment of statutory plans.
The workshop will introduce the key technical terms and basic standard requirements of various types of technical assessments, including Traffic Impact Assessment, Drainage and Sewerage Impact Assessment, Visual Impact Assessment, Landscape Impact Assessment, Air Ventilation Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment, Air Quality Impact Assessment, Noise Impact Assessment, Quantitative Risk Assessment and Land Contamination Assessment. Case studies will also be shared and used for discussion.
All practicing planners are cordially invited to attend our half-day training workshop. Details of the workshop can be found below:-
