Young Planners Group (YPG) is working to support you to discover and reveal opportunities by registering as a Registered Professional Planners (RPP) at the Planners Registration Board.
The Planners Registration Board was established in 1992 under the Planners Registration Ordinance (Cap 418), in which its main objectives are to establish a system for the registration of professional planners in Hong Kong and to provide for the disciplinary control of the professional activities of the registered planners. Since its establishment, the number of RPPs has steadily increased from 86 in early 1993 to the current 356.
YPG understands that many young planners, or young would-be planners, are concerned about the registration as a RPP, and we would like to help share experiences and generate knowledge for our members. We therefore have invited Mr. Roger Tang, Chairperson of the Planners Registration Board, and some newly registered RPPs to share the latest experience on registration as one of the RPPs and other opportunities that you could come across in your career! It will be an interactive and value-added sharing, and we recommend anyone who is interested to come and join this networking evening.
