We are looking for applicants for the position of:
Town Planning Manager (Ref: 190000FE)
Initiate, lead and conduct researches to identify property development opportunities along existing and future railway lines
Manage the master planning process for optimal and sustainable property development, including conducting feasibility studies and preparing master layout plans for statutory and non-statutory submissions
Review the town planning system and practice, monitor property market and sites conditions, prepare planning / development briefs, initiate necessary sectoral studies, manage consultants for planning and urban design in environmental, traffic and other topical areas
Negotiate with government departments to obtain approval of planning proposals and applications
Degree in Town Planning with membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners or equivalent
A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
Good management and communication skills with the ability to work independently
Solid town planning knowledge in both statutory and research aspects
Strong commercial acumen is an advantage
Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
