Senior Officer (Planning & Development) (Town Planning) (4-month) – Hong Kong Housing Society

The Job

  • Assist in conducting researches and analyses as well as planning, development or technical feasibility studies to identify development opportunities in Hong Kong.

  • Assist in assessing the compliance with town planning related legislations and guidelines as well as the compliance with planning approvals including any approval conditions for the committed and potential projects.

  • Assist in providing advice on the strategy of seeking necessary planning approvals and facilitating the submission of planning briefs, planning applications, Master Layout Plans and technical assessments.

  • Assist in providing support to in-house teams on town planning, urban design, development control systems and other related technical expertise.

  • Assist in preparing consultancy briefs, coordinating with consultant teams and monitoring consultant teams’ performances.

  • Assist in liaising with Government authorities and different stakeholders such as district councils, local concern groups, etc. to facilitate the planning and development processes.

 

The Person

  • Degree holder in Town Planning or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.

  • Strategic thinking, accepting changes with good analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese. Good spoken Putonghua is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, design/presentation software and Chinese Word processing.

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Officer (Planning & Development).
