PLANNING TEAM PROJECT MANAGER – HONG KONG

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •   Manages one or more projects during all phases of a project. Directs employees, other professional designers and consultants at all levels to ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken and that work is completed as planned.

  • Responsible for maintaining client relationships throughout the project. 

  • Exercises authority over day-to-day activity of assigned project teams.

  • Responsible for managing project budget, work plans, consultants and schedule.  

  • Initiates and maintains contact with other key project leaders for clarification, coordination and negotiation of critical issues. 

  • Provides on-going communication through team meetings, minutes, and up-date memos to project team.

  • Identifies new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.

  •   Participates in marketing and business development opportunities.

  • Assists with negotiating fees and contracts.

  • Attends and participates in weekly, marketing and monthly project performance meetings related to Asia operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Urban Design/Landscape Design or equivalent in education or experience. 

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Landscape, Urban Design in particular and Architectural practice with prior project management experience preferred.

  • LEED GA or AP Accreditation preferred.

  • Understanding of project work plans, schedules and budgets.  

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be able to travel.

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin required
