Transport Planner / Engineer

Participatory Professional Services Limited (PPSL) started two years ago, within which we engaged  over 70 institutes / associations with over 1,000 participants in various sectors, giving advices to more than 300 entities, and as sitting consultants to various committees / financial institutions in relation to town planning and development aspects. All of our working partners obtained over 35 years of experience in their respective industries. To cope with the expanding business, PPSL is now looking for Transport Planner/Engineer who is interested in developing a career in Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning. Candidates shall possess the following:

 

1.                               Degree holder in Transportation Engineering/Planning or equivalent;

2.                               2 to 5 years of appropriate working experience in Transport Engineering/Planning field after obtaining the academic qualification;

3.                               Familiar with traffic engineering and transportation planning fundamentals and relevant design standards;

4.                               Corporate Member of HKIP/HKIE or equivalent is preferred;

5.                               Able to work independently and act in a professional manner;

6.                               Self-motivated, mature, and responsible with a grounded character;

7.                               Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

8.                               Good presentation and analytical skills;

9.                               Must be flexible and respectful to work in a multi-disciplinary environment;

10.                           Willing to accept and active to create innovative and ground breaking ideas; and

11.                           Immediate availability is an advantage.

 Job Duties:

·  Project management of transport engineering/planning projects; 

·  Preparation of tender documents and technical specifications, proposals and other bids;

· Preparation of design reports, drawings and other submissions;

·  Coordinate with other key project leaders and clients for clarification and negotiation of critical issues; and 

·  Provide transport engineering/planning supports to team members whenever necessary.
