Planning for Our Ideal City

Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) Awards are given to honour the outstanding achievements of our members and related professionals in town planning each year. Through the delivery of Awards, we wish to raise public awareness in good planning principles and practice, and to encourage pursuit of excellence amongst planners in Hong Kong and mainland China.
香港規劃師學會每年頒發周年大獎予會員和相關專業人士，以表彰他們在城市規劃方面的傑出成就。透過頒發周年大獎，我們希望提高公眾對良好城市規劃原則及實踐的了解，並繼續鼓勵本地及內地規劃師追求卓越，精益求精。
Young Planners Awards (YPA) are introduced to honour the active participation and contribution of our young planners to the planning profession in particular and community affairs in general, as well as to promote and foster professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm amongst themselves.
青年規劃師大獎旨在表彰傑出的青年規劃師對規劃專業及社區事務方面的積極參與及貢獻。同時，該獎項希望促進及培養青年規劃師的專業水平、奉獻精神及熱情參與。
This year, a total of four projects and one young planner are selected for HKIP Awards and YPA respectively. The awarded projects listed below have demonstrated various ways to inject new life to the city by integrating the innovative ideas and existing planning elements as well as old social fabric, benefiting the local community and contributing to promotion of the planning profession to the general public. The awarded young planner, with distinguished achievements in and contribution to the profession and community affairs, can serve as role model for his counterparts.
今年共有四個項目及一位青年規劃師分別獲得「香港規劃師學會周年大獎」及「青年規劃師大獎」。得獎項目展示不同方法，運用新舊融合的設計為城市注入新生命，為社會帶來裨益，以及將規劃專業推廣予市民大眾。而得獎的青年規劃師致力投身於規劃專業和社區工作，為同輩樹立良好榜樣。
