Abstracts:
Public engagement is an inseparable component in town planning and development project.  It is apparent that public perception, approaches and results of different public engagement exercises vary significantly.   How can we device a ‘Human-Centric’, effective and fruitful public engagement exercise within an array of constraints?  What lessons can be learnt from other engagements exercises?  In this seminar, our speakers will take us through the role of public engagement, human-centric approaches and how to integrate various aspects into our work.  Using proven frameworks and real-life projects as examples, participants can have a chance to venture behind the scenes to identify key building blocks for a successful human-centric public engagement exercise.
