Seminar : The Placemakers of Hong Kong
The Education and Training Committee invites you to join a seminar entitled ‘The Placemakers of Hong Kong’, presented by Mr. Roger Nissim.
Place-making is now globally recognised as a basic building block in planning and design for both new and redevelopment schemes. Has place-making been embedded in land use planning and layout design locally? In this seminar, our speaker will take us through projects of various scales in Hong Kong, travel from the central business district to rural area, to explore place-making from different placemakers, covering site to area based schemes, new town to the coming Northern Metropolis contemplating housing development to conservation.
